João grabs opportunities when he sees them.

In 2006, João graduated in Civil Engineering at Minho University, where he had the opportunity to do the Erasmus programme in Poland. He started working in 2006 in a Portuguese steel company as Construction Manager, and after just one year, he went to a Consultancy firm in Civil Engineering, staying until 2010. Then he decided to attend a post-graduation in Construction Management, which led him to live in Barcelona. It was after this Spanish experience that he went to France to work in a construction company. Missing his hometown, he decided to return to Portugal where we started work as a Construction Manager. All these experiences in management roles allowed him to interact with different people in different cultures. Today he’s in the Magellan MBA programme and feels that it has helped him to improve his skills. It really is changing his life.

If João ever went to the moon, it would most definitely be to its dark side. Yup, you’ve got it, João is a huge music fan, especially a Pink Floyd one. Well, besides arguably good taste in music, João is an amateur guitarist and plays with his band. He’s also into economy and checking the financial markets, as well as reading and watching sports games that make up part of his life.
