Hussam is passionate for making a difference
Hussam was born in Syria and lived in various middle-eastern countries such as Algeria, Syria and Lebanon. When he started university in 2004, this real altruist worked as a Shelter Manager for Lebanese refugees in Damascus and in 2009 as a Project Manager in a NGO (photography projects for children). After graduating in Structural Engineering, he started working right away in an important multinational construction corporation. A strong believer in Green Production methods and corporate social responsibilities, Hussam then worked as a consultant for the UN in Beirut. That’s when he realized that if he wanted to evolve to a position in the diplomatic world, it would be very useful to enroll in an MBA, ending up at Porto Business School.Main skills

The proof that nerds can be party animals too
Don’t be fooled by the glasses, Hussam works hard but also plays hard. After all, he was the one that threw a birthday party for 150. This Manchester United fan has a lot of energy that he likes to spend swimming, playing tennis and...karaoking. Oh yes, Hussam can be seen having a blast rocking the microphone, crooning to his favourite tunes.Generous. Funny. Sociable.
